Basic Hourly Service Rates
PolkPC uses standard hourly rates for all of our services. These rates apply if we pick-up your repair, or if you choose to pay for on-site repair, networking or programming services on an as-needed, time and materials basis. The following shows our standard rates.
In-Shop repair and services:
$45 per hour for all services during service hours.
$60 per hour for all services after service hours.
On-Site & Pick-Up repair and networking services:
$60 per hour for all services during service hours.
$75 per hour for all services after service hours.
Online Remote Help:
$30 per hour for all services during service hours.
$45 per hour for all services after service hours.
Standard labor rate for web design, eCommerce & programming services:
$45 per hour for all services during service hours.
$60 per hour for all services after service hours.
Desktop computers, workstations, servers:
$45 per hour during service hours.
$60 per hour after service hours.
Laptop Repairs:
$45 per hour during service hours.
$60 per hour after service hours.
Low End Printers (ink jet, dot matrix):
$45 per hour during service hours.
$60 per hour after service hours.
High End Printers (lasers, plotters):
$45 per hour during service hours.
$60 per hour after service hours.
EXPEDITE: Add $25 per hour to all services to expedite the service (move to the top of the work queue)

Project Based Pricing
If you have specific requirements for your project, PolkPC will design a custom proposal for services with a single, fixed price for delivery of services within the scope of the proposal. This option works best if the requirements for the project are clearly understood and can be documented in the proposal.
Fixed price proposals work well for eCommerce and programming projects, as well as large network installation and upgrade projects. We will also develop fixed price proposals for large on site maintenance projects, so long as the project is large enough to warrant this approach.
The benefit of fixed price is that the client is paying for a specific delivery, not paying for how long the delivery may or may not take to complete.
